A total of 46 priests have been named administrators of parishes, including two on a temporary basis, the Cardinal’s Office has announced.

The temporary administrators are Father Joseph McLafferty, St. Margaret Mary, Staten Island, and Father Dany Abi Akar, Immaculate Conception, Sleepy Hollow.
Most of the appointments are effective July 1, with several others following in the next few days.
Father Alejunas, S.D.B., had served as parochial vicar and director of youth ministry at Our Lady of the Rosary, 2005-2012 and 2013-2014. He also directs the Don Bosco Boys and Girls Club in Port Chester. He served as administrator of Our Lady of the Rosary, 2012-2013 and 2009. He also served at the Marian Shrine, Stony Point, 2002-2005, and Salesian High School, New Rochelle, 1999-2002. He served at the provincial offices in New Rochelle, 1998-1999. He was ordained for the Salesians of Don Bosco in 1989.
Father Angel-Neri has been parochial vicar at St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus, the Bronx, since 2012. He had served as administrator of St. Teresa of Avila/Holy Cross, Sleepy Hollow, 2010-2012. He was parochial vicar at Blessed Sacrament parish, 2007-2010. He was ordained in 2007.
Father Arlotta has been pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus in Highland Falls since 2002. He was parochial vicar of Resurrection, Rye, 1996-2002, and Holy Rosary, the Bronx, 1992-1996. He was ordained in 1992.
Father Bida served as parochial vicar of St. Anthony’s, Pine Plains, since 2005. He also served at Regina Coeli, Hyde Park, 2002-2005, and St. Lawrence O’Toole, Brewster, 1991-2003. He was administrator of Our Lady of Vilnius in Manhattan, 1980-1981. He was a canonical consultant to the Metropolitan Tribunal in Manhattan and Poughkeepsie. He served as parochial vicar at St. Mary’s, Kingston, 1983-1991, and St. Peter’s, Monticello, 1974-1976. He was ordained in 1973.
Father Carrella has been pastor at St. Adalbert’s, Staten Island, since 1998. He served as parochial vicar at Annunciation, Crestwood, 1990-1998, and St. Benedict’s, the Bronx, 1984-1988. He was ordained in 1984.
Father Ciszowski has served since 2009 as parochial vicar of St. Augustine’s, Ossining. He served as parochial vicar at St. Stanislaus Kostka, Staten Island, 2005-2009. He was ordained for the Diocese of Lublin in his native Poland in 2000 and incardinated into the archdiocese in 2013.
Msgr. Colacicco has served as pastor of St. Columba’s in Hopewell Junction since 2002. He served as a judge on the Metropolitan Tribunal, 2007-2010, and was defender of the bond and judge, 1992-1996. He served as pastor of Sacred Heart, Newburgh, 1996-1999. He was director of pastoral formation at St. Joseph’s Seminary, Dunwoodie, 1992-1996. He was priest secretary to Cardinal O’Connor, 1989-1990. He was parochial vicar at St. Denis-St. Columba’s, Hopewell Junction, 1987-1989; Our Lady of Fatima, Scarsdale, 1984-1987; and Good Shepherd, Rhinebeck, 1982-1984. He was ordained in 1982.
Msgr. Conway has been pastor of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Staten Island, since 1993. He served as pastor of St. Paul’s, Staten Island, 1989-1993. He was administrator of Sacred Heart of Jesus, Manhattan, 1987-1989. He was parochial vicar at St. Patrick’s, Staten Island, 1977-1987, and St. Joseph’s, Croton Falls, 1973-1976. He was on the faculty of Cardinal Spellman in the Bronx, 1976-1977. He was ordained in 1973.
Father Eric Cruz served as temporary administrator of St. Luke’s in the Bronx since January. He has served since 2012 as regional coordinator of Catholic Charities in the Bronx, a post he will continue to hold. He was pastor of Christ the King, the Bronx, 2006-2011, and served as administrator of Our Lady of Victory, the Bronx, 2009-2011. He was parochial vicar at St. Elizabeth’s, Manhattan, 2003-2006. He was ordained in 2003.
Father James Cruz has served as priest secretary to Cardinal Dolan since 2009. He served as pastor of St. John Vianney, the Bronx, 2008-2009, and administrator there, 2008. He served as parochial vicar of St. Raymond’s, the Bronx, 2005-2008. He was ordained in 2005.
Father Curley has been parochial vicar of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill since 2010. He served as parochial vicar of Epiphany, Manhattan, 2008-2010, and Holy Child, Staten Island, 2008. He was ordained in 2008.
Father Derivan has served as pastor of St. Helena’s, the Bronx, since 1996. He served there as parochial vicar, 1972-1996. He was ordained in 1972. He was named a monsignor in 1999.
Father Devery has been temporary administrator of Our Lady of Pity, Staten Island, since 2013. He was director of the Office of Priest Personnel, 2007-2012. He had served as pastor of Holy Child, Staten Island, 2000-2007. He was a member of the parish mission team. From 1988 to 1990 he was special assistant to the archbishop for vocations. He served as parochial vicar at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Shrub Oak, 1984-1988, and Most Holy Trinity Chapel, West Point, 1977-1984. He was ordained in 1977.
Father Diaz has been temporary administrator of St. Margaret Mary, Staten Island, since 2010. He was the director of the Filipino Apostolate with the Chapel of San Lorenzo Ruiz for three years starting in 2005; he was also director of the Filipino Apostolate beginning in 1996. He was pastor of St. Malachy’s, Manhattan, 2001-2005. He served as parochial vicar at St. Peter’s, Manhattan, 2000-2001; St. Gregory the Great, Manhattan, 1999-2000; Epiphany, Manhattan, 1996-1999, and St. Joseph’s, Yorkville, 1978-1996. He was ordained in 1969 in the Philippines and incardinated into the archdiocese in 1998.
Father Dicks has been pastor of St. John the Evangelist, Goshen, since 2002. He served as pastor of St. Dominic’s, the Bronx, 1995-2002, and as temporary administrator there, 1994-1995. He was parochial vicar at St. Dominic’s, 1992-1994. He was parochial vicar at St. Francis of Assisi, Newburgh, 1987-1992. He was ordained in 1987.
Father Duffell has been parochial vicar of Blessed Sacrament, Manhattan, since 2012. He served as pastor of Ascension in Manhattan, 1994-2012. He served as pastor of St. Peter’s, Yonkers, 1981-1994, and also as administrator of Our Lady of the Rosary, Yonkers, 1992-1993, with a sabbatical to study at the North American College, 1990-1992. He was parochial vicar at St. Patrick’s, Yorktown Heights, 1977-1981, and Sacred Heart of Jesus in Manhattan, 1969-1977. He was ordained in 1969.
Father Garisto has been pastor of St. Peter’s, Poughkeepsie, since 1998. He was on the faculty of St. Joseph by-the-Sea, Staten Island, 1990-1998. He was parochial vicar at Our Lady Queen of Peace, Staten Island, 1983-1990; and St. Clare’s, 1982-1983, and St. Lucy’s, 1979-1982, both in the Bronx. He was ordained for the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales in 1977 and incardinated into the Archdiocese of New York in 1983.
Father Grippo has been pastor of St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus since 1991. He served as parochial vicar at Immaculate Heart of Mary, Scarsdale, 1980-1991, and St. Frances de Chantal, the Bronx, 1972-1980. He was ordained in 1972.
Father Heter has been pastor of St. Thomas of Canterbury since 1998 and earlier served there as administrator, 1996-1998, and parochial vicar, 1986-1996. He served as parochial vicar at Sacred Heart in Suffern, 1978-1986, and Our Lady of Mercy, Port Chester, 1974-1978. He was ordained in 1974.
Father Kallumady has been on sabbatical in Rome. He served as pastor of Holy Innocents, Manhattan, 2007-2013, and pastor of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral, Manhattan, 2005-2007, where he was administrator, 2002-2005. He was parochial vicar at St. John the Evangelist, Beacon, 2000-2002, and Sacred Heart, Staten Island, 1997-2000. He was ordained in 1973 and incardinated in 2000.
Msgr. Keane has served as pastor of Annunciation, Crestwood, since 2003, and has been executive director of the Trustees of St. Patrick’s Cathedral since 2012. He served as pastor of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Manhattan, 1992-2003, and also served as administrative assistant to the chancellor, 1999-2003. He was parochial vicar at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Pelham Manor, 1979-1992; and St. Gabrielle’s, New Rochelle, 1971-1979. He was ordained in 1971 and named a monsignor in 1999.
Father Kearney has been pastor of St. Catherine of Laboure in Lake Katrine since 1996. He served as parochial vicar of St. Mary’s, Kingston, 1991-1996; St. Mary’s, Poughkeepsie, 1984-1991 and St. Teresa’s, Tarrytown, 1983-1984. He was ordained in 1983.
Father Kerrigan, C.S.P., has been temporary administrator of St. John’s, Kingsbridge, since 2012. He served as parochial vicar of St. Catharine’s, Blauvelt, 2010-2013. From 2005 to 2010 he was an editor at Paulist Press. He served as parochial vicar of Good Shepherd in Inwood, 1987-1993. He was ordained for the Paulist Fathers in 1987.
Father Kurzyna has been pastor of St. Patrick’s, Verplanck, since 1996, and administrator of St. Christopher’s, Buchanan, since 2010. He was parochial vicar at St. Augustine’s, Highland, 1993-1996; St. Mary’s, Wappingers Falls, 1990-1992; Regina Coeli, Hyde Park, 1989-1990; St. Martin de Porres, Poughkeepsie, 1981-1989; Sacred Heart, Patterson, 1975-1981, and St. John’s, West Hurley-Woodstock, 1974-1975. He was ordained in 1974.
Father Lagiovane has been principal of Our Lady of Lourdes High School, Poughkeepsie, since 2006. He was on the faculty at Msgr. Farrell High School, Staten Island, 1999-2006. He served as parochial vicar at St. Aedan’s, Pearl River, 1996-1999; and Sacred Heart, Newburgh, 1992-1996. He was ordained in 1992.
Father LaGrutta has served since 2013 as parochial vicar at St. James the Apostle, Carmel. He served as parochial vicar of Immaculate Conception, Port Jervis, 2010-2013. He was ordained in 2010.
Msgr. La Paz has been pastor of Incarnation in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan since 1996. He was appointed regional vicar of North Manhattan in 2007. He served as a judge on the Metropolitan Tribunal, 1993-1996. He served as a parochial vicar at Incarnation, 1985-1991; St. Peter’s, Haverstraw, 1979-1985; and St. Joseph’s, Middletown, 1978-1979. He was ordained in 1978 and named a monsignor in 1999.
Msgr. Larkin has been pastor of Visitation in the Bronx since 1991. He served as vice chancellor, 1988-1991. He served as parochial vicar at St. Barnabas, the Bronx, 1980-1988, and St. Dominic’s, the Bronx, 1973-1977. He served on the faculty of Cardinal Hayes High School, the Bronx, 1977-1980.
Father Malick has been temporary administrator of St. Francis Xavier Cabrini on Roosevelt Island since 2013. He was parochial vicar at Our Lady Star of the Sea, Staten Island, 2012-2013, and St. Augustine’s, New City, 2007-2008, and parochial vicar at Immaculate Conception, Tuckahoe, 2008-2012. He was ordained in 2007.
Father McCarthy served as parochial vicar at St. Ann’s, Staten Island, since 2011. He served as parochial vicar at St. Clare’s, Staten Island, 2008-2011, and Sacred Heart, Newburgh, 2005-2008. He was ordained in 2005.
Father McLoughlin has been pastor of St. Stephen’s in Warwick since 2002. He served as pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus in Highland Falls, 1996-2002. He served as temporary administrator of St. John the Baptist, Yonkers, 1995-1996. He served as parochial vicar of St. John the Baptist, Yonkers, 1990-1995; St. Peter’s, Rosendale, 1985-1990; and St. Rita’s, Staten Island, 1981-1985. He also was vocations coordinator for the Staten Island Vicariate, 1982-1985. He was ordained in 1981.
Father Mizzi-Gili was parochial vicar of St. Anthony’s, Nanuet, 2012-2014, and Our Lady of the Assumption, the Bronx, 2009-2012. He was ordained in 2009.
Father Oonnoonny has been pastor of Most Holy Trinity, Yonkers, since 2008. He has served since 2012 as associate judicial vicar of the Metropolitan Tribunal, for which he was a judge, 2002-2012, and also performed other services, 1998-2000. He studied canon law in Canada, 2000-2002, and in Rome, 1996-1998. He was parochial vicar at St. Ann’s, Staten Island, 1991-1996. He was ordained in 1991.
Father Pawlaczyk has been parochial vicar at St. John the Evangelist, Mahopac, since 2004. He was ordained in 1992 in his native Poland and incardinated into the archdiocese in 2011.
Father Quarato has been pastor of Holy Rosary, the Bronx, since 2001. He served as parochial vicar of St. Margaret of Cortona, 1996-2001, and St. Benedict’s, 1992-1996, both in the Bronx. He was ordained in 1992.
Father Rodriguez has served since 1999 as pastor of St. John Chrysostom in the Bronx, where he was administrator, 1997-1999. He has served as a New York City Police Department chaplain, beginning in 2002. He served as a parochial vicar of Blessed Sacrament, 1988-1997, and St. Margaret Mary, 1987-1988, both in the Bronx. In 2005 he was appointed to the College of Consultors. He was ordained in 1987.
Father Salcedo, S.D.B., has served as administrator of St. Pius V, the Bronx, since 2012. He was parochial vicar of St. John Chrysostom, the Bronx, 2010-2012, and St. Elizabeth’s, 2004-2010, and Incarnation, 2002-2004, both in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan. He was ordained in the Dominican Republic in 1997 for the Salesians of Don Bosco.
Msgr. Sandi has been pastor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Shrub Oak since 2003, and was administrator there, 2002-2003. He served as parochial vicar at Holy Family, Staten Island, 2000-2002. He was an Air Force chaplain from 1976 to 2000, and retired with the rank of lieutenant colonel. He served as parochial vicar at Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Benedicta, Staten Island, 1973-1976. He was ordained in 1973 and named a monsignor in 1999.
Father Serrano has been pastor of St. John Vianney, the Bronx, since 2009. He served as parochial vicar at Sacred Heart in Newburgh, 2008-2009; St. Ann’s, Ossining, 2003-2005; and St. Elizabeth’s, Manhattan, 1995-2003. He was administrator of St. Columba’s, Manhattan, 2005-2008. He was ordained in 1995.
Father Sportino has been administrator of St. Joseph’s, the Bronx, since 2009. He had served as parochial vicar of St. Lucy’s, the Bronx, since 2008. He also served at Our Lady of Grace, the Bronx, 2004-2006, and Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. Bernard’s, Manhattan, 2002-2004. He was ordained in his native Italy in 1991.
Father Tokarczyk has been pastor of St. Joseph’s, Florida, since 1999. He served as administrator there, 1996-1999. He also was administrator of St. Stanislaus, Pine Island, 2008-2011. He served as parochial vicar at St. Stanislaus, Staten Island, 1989-1996. He was ordained in his native Poland in 1979 and incardinated into the archdiocese in 1996.
Father Villa has been pastor of St. Eugene’s, Yonkers, since 1998. He also served there as administrator, 1997-1998, and parochial vicar, 1994-1997. He served as parochial vicar of St. Dominic’s, the Bronx, 1992-1994, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the Bronx, 1986-1991. He was named regional vicar of Yonkers in 2011. He was ordained in 1986.
Father Williams has been temporary administrator of St. Mary’s, Marlboro, since 2013. Father Abi Akar has served most recently at a parish in Connecticut. He earlier served in Buffalo and Virginia. He was ordained in 2010 for the Eparchy of St. Maron in Brooklyn.
