I recently had the honor of meeting Cardinal Dolan when he visited St. John the Evangelist Church in Goshen. He is such a great example of Christ’s love and compassion as he greeted adults and children with warmth and humor.
As he spoke, I was thinking of how just a week before he was visiting the Christian refugees who had fled to Kurdistan to escape ISIS. The photo on Page 2 of CNY’s April 14 issue shows the precious children smiling in spite of their ordeal. After meeting Cardinal Dolan myself, I know he helped bring those smiles. Please pray for our beloved Cardinal Dolan and our Christian brothers and sisters suffering persecution.
