Parishes in the archdiocese will join others across the nation in praying for the sanctity of all human life on the National Night of Prayer for Life, Dec. 8-9.
The prayer service typically consists of four hours of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, recitation of the Rosary and other vocal prayer, silent meditation and Benediction. Prayers will be offered to end abortion and all offenses against the dignity of the human person, to make reparation for these sins and pray for the healing of those who are suffering.
