Cardinal Dolan blesses the new Resurrection Middle School Doty Gym March 7.
In honor of longtime Catholic philanthropists George and Marie Doty, both now deceased, the Doty family donated $1 million to the project. The Dotys were devoted parishioners of Resurrection, who were very active and generous supporters of the parish and school.
Cardinal Dolan presented a CYO trophy to the eighth-grade boys’ team who were Westchester/Putnam County Champions. Msgr. Donald Dwyer is the pastor of the church; Sister Anne Massell, P.B.V.M., is school principal.
