Residents of New York state may enter a ticket giveaway contest to receive two tickets for the Central Park Papal Procession to see Pope Francis on Friday, Sept. 25. Space is limited, and ticket recipients will be selected at random.
Applications can be made from 12:01 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 3, until 11:59 p.m., Monday, Sept. 7, at the website of the City of New York, www.nyc.gov.
The procession will take place along the West Drive from 81st Street to 59th Street-Columbus Circle. Guests must enter at their assigned gate, which will be listed on the ticket, beginning at noon. All ticket holders must be at their assigned gate no later than 3:30 p.m. Guests without tickets will not be permitted.
