THE CLOSER—It wasn’t the ninth inning, but when Yankees closer Rafael Soriano was introduced to the students at St. Raymond’s Elementary School in the Bronx Sept. 21, the cheers could probably be heard all the way to Yankee Stadium four and a half miles away.
