Presidents Appointed at Three High Schools

All Hallows High School and Mount St. Michael Academy in the Bronx and Albertus Magnus High School in Bardonia have appointed new presidents.

The All Hallows High School board of directors has appointed Ron Schuttè to serve as school president. Mount St. Michael’s board of trustees has named Peter Corritori Jr. as the school’s next president and chief executive officer. The Dominican Sisters of Sparkill who sponsor and serve as the trustees of Albertus Magnus High School have announced that Robert J. Gomprecht has been appointed president.

All appointments became effective July 1.

Schuttè is replacing Paul Krebbs who retired from the position June 30 after longtime service at the school. Corritori is replacing Anthony Miserandino, who retired at the end of the school year after serving the high school since 2006. Miserandino will serve as a visiting research scholar at Oxford University in the fall. Gomprecht succeeds Joseph Troy, who retired after 20 years of service at Albertus Magnus.

Schuttè is a 1974 alumnus of All Hallows High School and a 1970 graduate of its grammar school, now closed. He served several terms on the board of directors, including two as co-chair; he was a founding member and executive director of the All Hallows Foundation, 2008-2015. He was a captain in the U.S. Army; president and owner of Creative Bakers Inc.; president and chief executive officer of the Brooklyn Cheesecake and Desserts Company Inc.; and chief operations officer of the Fort Group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Fordham University and a master’s degree in management from Campbell University.

Corritori is a 1971 graduate of Mount St. Michael Academy and has served on the school board for the last four years. He has served as chairman, chief executive officer, president and director of several corporations including Clarity Imaging Technologies Inc., Badanco Luggage and the Florsheim Group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the City University of New York-Baruch College. He did graduate work at Pace University.

Gomprecht had served as principal of Fordham Preparatory School in the Bronx for the past 21 years. He also served the Jesuit-run school as assistant principal, chairperson of the science department, basketball coach and student government moderator. He has chaired the principals’ council that oversees athletics for the Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) in the metropolitan area. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology and a professional diploma in school administration from Fordham University.
