Students representing the religious education programs in parishes of the archdiocese give Cardinal Dolan book containing spiritual bouquets in honor of his recent elevation to the cardinalate. The presentation followed the Mass for Neophytes, which the cardinal celebrated in St. Patrick’s Cathedral April 22. The students are, from left: Julia Palmieri of St. Clement and St. Michael parish on Staten Island, Daphne Li of Transfiguration in Manhattan, Erin McLoughlin of Sacred Heart in Monroe and Kevin Li, also of Transfiguration. The Lis are brother and sister.
