Fourteen priests of the archdiocese are celebrating their 25th anniversaries of priesthood this year.

Father Richard Baker has been pastor of St. Malachy’s, also known as The Actor’s Chapel, in the Times Square area of Manhattan, since 2004. He had previously served five years as parochial vicar of St. Eugene’s in Yonkers. He has also served as professor and director of music at St. Joseph’s Seminary and as archdiocesan music director. He was a teacher and administrator at St. John Neumann Seminary Residence, 1997-1999. During those years he also taught part time at St. Joseph’s Seminary. He was parochial vicar at St. Philip Neri in the Bronx, 1990-1993. He earned a master’s degree in liturgical music from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

Father Joseph Blenkle is pastor of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill. He previously was pastor of Holy Name of Jesus, Valhalla, 2001-2013, and before that was administrator for more than a year. He was parochial vicar of St. Columbanus, Cortlandt Manor, 1996-2000, and St. Peter’s, Rosendale, 1990-1996.

Father Andrew Carrozza has been administrator of St. Ann’s parish in Yonkers since last July. He had served as pastor there since 2008. Prior to that he was parochial vicar at Immaculate Conception, Stony Point, 2005-2008; Sacred Heart, Suffern, 1999-2005; St. John the Evangelist, Mahopac, 1995-1999; and Immaculate Conception, Tuckahoe, 1990-1995. Born in the Bronx, he studied meteorology at the State University of New York at Oneonta prior to entering the seminary.

Father Steven E. Clark serves as pastor of St. Francis of Assisi in Mount Kisco. He previously was parochial vicar of Assumption, Peekskill, 1994-2005. He also served at St. Eugene’s, Yonkers, 1990-1994. Born in St. Louis, he studied for the priesthood at St. Joseph Seminary. Prior to entering the priesthood he was a pilot in the United States Marine Corps and a flight instructor.

Father Jeffrey Galens is pastor of St. Patrick's in Armonk, a position he has held since 2013. He has been pastor of Good Shepherd parish in Rhinebeck, 2001-2013. Prior to that he was on the faculty of Cardinal Hayes High School, the Bronx, 1995-2001. He was parochial vicar of St. Mary’s, Washingtonville, 1990-1995.

Father Fernando Hernandez is pastor of St. Patrick’s in Newburgh, a position he has held since 2009, and administrator of Our Lady of Fatima in Plattekill since 2014. He was named to the regional school board for Ulster/Sullivan/Orange counties in 2013. He was pastor of Christ the King, the Bronx, 2000-2006, and administrator for a year before that. He was administrator at Guardian Angel, the Bronx, 2006-2009. He was parochial vicar at Incarnation, Manhattan, 1995-1999, and St. Thomas Aquinas, the Bronx, 1990-1995.

Father Michael Keane
has been pastor of St. Anastasia, Harriman, since 2011. He was pastor of Holy Name of Mary in Croton-on-Hudson, 2003-2011, and temporary administrator there, 2002-2003. He was a guidance counselor and taught religion and psychology at Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Poughkeepsie, 1995-2002, and at St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School on Staten Island, 1993-1995. At Lourdes he also was chaplain/campus minister. He was parochial vicar at Regina Coeli, Hyde Park, 1990-1993.

Father Robert McKeon has served as pastor of St. Francis of Assisi in West Nyack since 2012. He was administrator of Sacred Heart in Patterson, 2011-2012, and 2002-2004. From 2008 to 2011 he was pastor of St. Lawrence O’Toole, Brewster, and from 2004 to 2008 he was pastor of St. Gregory Barbarigo, Garnerville. He was parochial vicar of St. Gregory Barbarigo, 2001-2002, and parochial vicar of Blessed Sacrament, New Rochelle, 1991-1993. He served as special assistant to the archbishop for vocations, 1993-2001.


Father Myles Murphy
has been pastor of St. Agnes in Manhattan since 2011. He was pastor of St. Michael’s parish in Manhattan, 2006-2011, and administrator, 2004-2006. He was parochial vicar of St. Gabriel’s, the Bronx, 1992-2004, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Elmsford, 1990-1992. He was on the faculty of St. Joseph’s Seminary Institute of Religious Studies. He is past president of the Mariological Society of America.

Msgr. Gregory Mustaciuolo
is vicar general of the archdiocese. He also has been archdiocesan chancellor and moderator of the curia since 2009. He previously served as a vice chancellor, an archdiocesan consultor, secretary to the archdiocesan Priests Council and judge on the Metropolitan Tribunal. He was secretary to Cardinal O’Connor from 1992 to 1995, and then did graduate studies in dogmatic theology at Gregorian University in Rome. He returned in 1998 and was again secretary to Cardinal O’Connor until the cardinal’s death in May of 2000. He was Cardinal Egan’s secretary from 2000 until Cardinal Egan retired in 2009. He earned a law degree at St. John’s University School of Law and was a staff attorney for two years with the New York City Corporation Counsel’s office before entering the seminary. He served as parochial vicar at St. Paul’s, Congers, 1990-1992. He also serves as archdiocesan procurator in promoting the canonization cause of Dorothy Day.

Father Trevor Nicholls
is parochial vicar of St. Catharine’s in Pelham. He was president of Cardinal Spellman High School in the Bronx from 2005 to 2014. He was parochial vicar of St. John the Evangelist, Goshen, 2003-2005, and earlier served in the parish’s hospital ministry, 1998-2003. He was on the faculty of John A. Coleman Catholic High School, Hurley, in 1990 and John S. Burke High School, Goshen, 1990-1998. He was an Episcopal priest before he converted to Catholicism.

Father Robert Porpora has been pastor of St. Denis in Hopewell Junction since 2012. He was named to the regional school board of Dutchess County in 2013. He served as pastor of Holy Cross in South Centerville, 2000-2012, and was administrator there, 1999-2000. He was parochial vicar at Our Lady Star of the Sea on Staten Island, 1995-1999, and St. Ann’s in Yonkers, 1990-1995.

Father William White has been pastor of St. Anthony’s, Pine Plains, since 1997. Since 2002, he also has been administrator of Immaculate Conception in Bangall. He earlier was parochial vicar at St. Joseph’s in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, 1993-1997, and St. Mary of the Assumption, Katonah, 1990-1993.

Father Robert Wilson
has been pastor of Immaculate Conception of Amenia since 2009. He served as pastor of Holy Rosary in Hawthorne in 2005. He served as parochial vicar of St. John the Evangelist, Goshen, 2005-2009; St. Mary’s, Fishkill, 1995-2005; St. Sylvester’s, Staten Island, 1994-1995; and Sacred Heart, Suffern, 1990-1994.
