Looking for something different to do this weekend? Events and activities are taking place at parishes and other locations throughout the archdiocese. Also, many events will be held celebrating the upcoming Our Lady of Mount Carmel feast day.

All weekend long, “Festa Italiana” will take place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in White Plains. The festival features entertainers performing Italian and American music, with an outdoor dance floor. There will also be games and food. A procession with a statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel will take place on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

This Sunday, an Irish Heritage Day will take place at Ridge Road Park in Hartsdale, from 1 to 6 p.m. The day includes live music, children’s activities and more. Mass will be celebrated at noon.
