On Sunday, Aug. 19, the 31st India Independence Day parade will take place, with devotees to Our Lady of Good Health, Vailankanni, gathering at 11:30 a.m., at 38th and Madison, Manhattan. Also on Sunday, Corazon Puro, a chastity outreach ministry for young adults sponsored by the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, will celebrate its fourth anniversary with a Holy Hour, Mass, music and more at St. Crispin Friary in the Bronx. The events will take place 1-6 p.m.
