Looking for a few faith-based activities to add to your schedule for this weekend? Why not try one of the following events?
Tonight, on Friday the 13th, Father Andre Patenaude, known as “Father Pat,” will perform an evening of song and praise at Holy Child Church on Staten Island, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Father Pat is a famous Christian recording artist known as the “Troubador Priest.” He serves at The National Shrine of Our Lady of LaSalette in Massachusetts. On Divine Mercy Sunday, parishes throughout the archdiocese will host special holy hours and blessings, including St. John the Evangelist in White Plains at 3 p.m.; at St. Francis Xavier in the Bronx at 3 p.m.; at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne at 1:30 p.m.; and at Holy Cross in the Bronx at 2 p.m. A daylong celebration will be held at the Marian Shrine in Stony Point, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
