Auxiliary Bishop Joseph M. Pernicone, A Memorial Mass in observance of the 22nd anniversary of the death of Auxiliary Bishop Joseph M. Pernicone will be offered on Sunday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 627 E. 187th St. in the Bronx. Auxiliary Bishop Robert A. Brucato, vicar general, will be the celebrant; Msgr. John A. Ruvo, the current pastor, will deliver the homily. Bishop Pernicone was pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel from 1944 to 1966.
