Brother Conan Vincent Dinnean, F.M.S., a principal and teacher in archdiocesan schools, died Jan. 3 at the Marist Brothers retirement community in Miami, Fla. He was 91. He was principal of Holy Trinity School in Poughkeepsie, 1957-1962. He also was among the pioneering Marist Brothers at St. Helena's School and St. Helena's High School (now Msgr. Scanlan), 1946-1953, where he taught science and religion and was principal. Born in New Haven, Conn., he entered the Marist Brothers in 1938. He received his religious formation at what is now Marist College and earned bachelorÕs and masterÕs degrees in education at Fordham University. A Funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 9 at St. Richard's Church in Miami, with burial Jan. 11 at the Marist Brothers cemetery in Esopus.
