Father Angelo Bongiorno, S.D.B., the oldest Salesian of Don Bosco in the United States, died Oct. 3 in East Boston, Mass. He was 93. He taught at the Salesian Institute (now Salesian High School) in New Rochelle, 1934-1938 and 1942-1945. He served for most of his priesthood in Boston. Born in Italy, he entered the Salesians in Newton, N.J., professed first vows in 1932 and was ordained in 1942. A Funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 6 at the Marian Shrine in Stony Point, with burial Oct. 7 at the Salesian Cemetery in Goshen.
