Father DeSimone to Serve on Staten Island

Father Thomas DeSimone has been appointed parochial vicar of St. Christopher-St. Margaret Mary parish, Staten Island, the Cardinal’s Office has announced. The appointment is effective Feb. 1

Father DeSimone had served as parochial vicar of Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. Bernard parish in Manhattan for the past year. He was chaplain and director of clergy development at the Theology of the Body Institute, Downingtown, Pa., 2014-2016. He also served at Our Lady of Sorrows, White Plains, 2009-2014; St. Ann’s, Staten Island, 2007-2009; and St. Peter’s, Haverstraw, 2006-2007. He was ordained in 2006.
