Father Brendan Gormley has been appointed temporary administrator of St. Anastasia’s parish in Harriman, the Cardinal’s Office has announced.
His appointment became effective on Nov. 9.
Father Gormley had served as parochial vicar of St. Anthony’s, Yonkers, since last October. He also was briefly pastor of Holy Family, Staten Island, last year. He was parochial vicar of St. Barnabas, the Bronx, 2010-2015, and St. Paul’s, Congers, 2007-2010. He was ordained in 2007.
