Our Lady of Good Counsel School on Staten Island after celebrated the 50th anniversary of the first Mass in Good Counsel’s present church on April 29. The actual first Mass in the current church was June 26, 1968. The original church is now used as the school gym. The parish, which is 120 years old, was founded by the Augustinians and returned administration to the archdiocese in 2016.
