Mary Golino, mother of Father Arthur Golino, pastor of St. Sylvester's parish on Staten Island, died Aug. 14 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. She was 80.
Father Golino celebrated the Funeral Mass Aug. 18 at his mother's home parish, Our Lady of the Assumption in the Bronx.
Mrs. Golino was a homemaker who later worked for 28 years as an admitting representative at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan.
In addition to Father Golino she is survived by two other sons, Steven and Michael. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Golino Sr.
Burial was in St. Raymond's Cemetery.
