Maureen T. Brolly, a volunteer at parishes and schools in the archdiocese, died June 29. She was 79.
Mrs. Brolly was a retired vice president of human resources at American Airlines. She volunteered her time at St. Gabriel’s parish, the Bronx, and St. Francis of Assisi, Manhattan, as well as at her children’s high schools, Fordham Prep, the Bronx, and Notre Dame School, Manhattan.
Her husband of 51 years, Richard, and her children, Theresa, Richard and Peggy, survive her as well as her eight granddaughters. Her brother, Father Michael Shanahan, SS.CC., of Massachusetts also survives her.
A Funeral Mass was offered July 9 at St. Gabriel’s Church, the Bronx. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Queens.
