Nine Priests Incardinated Into Archdiocese

Cardinal Dolan incardinated nine priests into the archdiocese during a ceremony at vespers in the Lady Chapel of St. Patrick’s Cathedral Sept. 28.

Brief biographies of the newly incardinated priests are below:

Father Conganige Anthony, 51, of Sri Lanka is assigned as a  parochial vicar at St. Mary-St. Joseph and Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish in Poughkeepsie. He was ordained in 1999.

Father Jorge Cleto, 52, of the Dominican Republic is a parochial vicar at St. Elizabeth parish in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan. Ordained in 2008 for the Augustinians–St. Thomas Province USA, his assignments have included St. Ann, Ossining; St. Rose of Lima, Manhattan; St. Nicholas of Tolentine, the Bronx; and Our Lady of Good Counsel, Staten Island.

Father Cyprien Emile, 54, of Haiti is assigned as parochial vicar  of  St. Joseph and St. Boniface parish in Spring Valley.

Ordained in 2003 in the Archdiocese of Port-au-Prince, his previous assignment was at Our Lady of Grace, the Bronx.

 

Father Angel Jimenez, 45, of Ecuador is a parochial vicar at Holy Name of Jesus-St. Gregory the Great parish, Manhattan.

Ordained in 2007 in the Archdiocese of Cuenca, he has also served at Blessed Sacrament, Manhattan.

                     

Father John Edison Lourdhusamy, 53, of India is a parochial vicar at St. Joseph-St. Thomas and St. John Neumann parish, Staten Island. He was ordained in 1995 for the Archdiocese of Pondicherry and Cuddalore. His previous assignment was at St. Gregory the Great parish, Harrison.

 

Father Ivan Lovric, 44, of Croatia is a parochial vicar at St. Aedan parish, Pearl River. Ordained in June 2022 in the Archdiocese of Sarajevo, his previous assignment was at Annunciation parish, Crestwood.

Father Nelson Pichardo, 56, of the Dominican Republic is a parochial vicar at St. Mary-Holy Name of Jesus and St. Peter parish, Kingston. Ordained in 1995 in the Diocese of La Vega, Dominican Republic, his previous assignments were in Manhattan at St. Joseph of the Holy Family parish and St. Gregory the Great parish.

 

Father Bladi Jesus Socualaya-Miranda, 48, of Peru is a parochial vicar at St. Anastasia parish, Harriman, and the Hispanic Ministry coordinator for the southern half of Orange County. Ordained in 2001 in the Archdiocese of Huancayo, Junin, his previous assignment was at St. Patrick, Newburgh.

Father Randall Soto, 56, of Costa Rica serves at St. Joseph’s Seminary, Dunwoodie. Ordained in 1991 in the          Archdiocese of San Jose, Costa Rica, he was previously assigned at the Pontifical North American College, Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in the Archdiocese of St. Louis and at parishes in Lafayette, Ind.
