Parents Welcome at Catholic Schools on ‘Touring Tuesdays’

Posted

The 2019-2020 “Touring Tuesdays” open house and information sessions have been scheduled at more than 120 elementary schools throughout the Archdiocese of New York. The events will take place on select Tuesdays throughout the school year from 9 to 11 a.m., or by appointment.

The dates are Nov. 19, Dec. 3, Jan. 7 and 28 (during Catholic Schools Week), Feb. 11 and 18, and March 3 and 24. Touring Tuesdays are information sessions designed to introduce prospective families to the life-long benefits and value of a Catholic education, starting with Pre-K/UPK and extending through eighth grade.

Since their inception in 2013, Touring Tuesdays have been attended by thousands of families. The tours offer parents an opportunity to see Catholic schools in action, learn about the admissions process and meet with principals, faculty and students at the school.

Touring Tuesday reservations are required and can be made online at https://catholicschoolsny.org/visit-a-school, or by calling our bilingual Parent Helpline, (646) 794-2885. School tours can also be arranged at other times to accommodate parents’ schedules.
