The Archdiocese of New York will hold a prayer vigil for life for parishes of the archdiocese at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Sunday, Jan. 21, the eve of the 45th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.

Auxiliary Bishop Peter Byrne will offer Mass at 5:30 p.m. to open the vigil, followed by Adoration with music by the Sisters of Life.

For those unable to journey to the March for Life in Washington D.C., Friday, Jan. 19, the prayer vigil will be a local pilgrimage for building up the culture of life. It is open to all parishioners, families, parish groups and youth groups.
