Pulaski Day Parade

The 85th annual Pulaski Day Parade was held Oct. 2 in Manhattan. Auxiliary Bishop Witold Mroziewski of the Diocese of Brooklyn, served as celebrant at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The parade, traditionally held on the first Sunday of October, dates back to 1937 when New York’s Polish-American community honored Polish nobleman and American Revolutionary War hero Gen. Casimir Pulaski.
