Sister Beata Harold, F.D.C., who was an elementary school teacher in Manhattan, died Jan. 27 in Staten Island University Hospital. She was 94. Sister Beata taught at St. Stephen of Hungary School in Manhattan from 1979 to 1981. She also taught in New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Ohio. In her later years, she served at St. Mary's Residence for women in Manhattan. Born in Bethlehem, Pa., she entered the Daughters of Divine Charity in 1929 and professed final vows in 1939. Surviving is a sister, Rose Nemeth. A Funeral Mass was offered Jan. 29 in the chapel at the convent of St. Joseph Hill Academy on Staten Island, with burial in Resurrection Cemetery there.
