Sister Catherine Agnes Ladzinski, C.R., who taught at schools in the archdiocese, died June 28 at Resurrection Nursing Home in Castleton. She was 95.
She taught at St. Francis of Assisi School, Newburgh, from 1973 to 1996, and from 1949 to 1952. She also taught at St. Joseph’s, Poughkeepsie, 1953-1959 and 1960-1962, and at St. Casimir’s, Yonkers, 1933-1938 and 1943-1945.
She also served in the dioceses of Albany and Bridgeport, Conn.
Born in Poughkeepsie, she entered the Sisters of the Resurrection in 1929 and professed final vows in 1938.
A Funeral Mass was offered July 1 at the Provincialate Chapel in Castleton, with burial in Resurrection Cemetery there.
