Sister Dominica Goetz, O.P., who served as a teacher and a volunteer in the archdiocese, died Sept. 26 at St. Patrick's Home in the Bronx. She was 98. Sister Dominica was a volunteer from 1990 to 1997 at St. Patrick's Home and then lived there until her death. She taught in the Bronx at Our Lady of Refuge School, 1960-1974, and Christ the King, 1974-1990. She also taught in Washington, D.C., and in Maryland, Illinois and Wisconsin. Born in Manhattan, she entered the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters in 1932 and professed final vows in 1937. She held a bachelor's degree from Edgewood College in Madison, Wis. A Funeral Mass was offered Sept. 29 at St. Patrick's Home, with burial at the sisters' cemetery in Ossining.
