Sister Jude Marie Walsh, S.C., who served for 36 years in health care administration and record keeping, died Aug. 22 at Mary the Queen Convent in Yonkers. She was 93.
She kept medical records at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Manhattan, 1974-1992, and was a supervisor there, 1970-1974. She served at St. Vincent’s earlier, as assistant to the controller and then as X-ray supervisor and administrator.
She was business manager and group mother at St. Agatha’s Home, Nanuet, for four years. She was food manager at the Academy of Mount St. Vincent, Tuxedo Park, 1966-1970.
Born in Shamokin, Pa., she entered the Sisters of Charity of New York in 1946 and made final vows in 1951.
A Funeral Mass was offered Aug. 25 at Mary the Queen Convent. Burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Yonkers.
