Sister M. Noralene Calpin, I.H.M.

Sister M. Noralene Calpin, I.H.M., who taught at St. Ann’s School in Nyack, died Dec. 22 at Our Lady of Peace Residence in Scranton, Pa. She was 82.

She taught at St. Ann’s from 1963 to 1969. She also taught in other dioceses, including Brooklyn.

Born in Scranton, Pa., she entered the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1947 and professed final vows in 1954. She held bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Marywood College in Scranton.

She is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Norton and Helen McDonough.

A Funeral Mass was offered Dec. 29 at Our Lady of Peace Residence, with burial in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow, Pa.
