Sister Mary Alice Wheatley, I.H.M., a former principal at Holy Trinity School in Poughkeepsie, died Oct. 10 at Our Lady of Peace Residence in Scranton. She was 66. She was principal at Holy Trinity from 1991 to 1994. She also served as principal and teacher at schools in Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Maryland. Born in Newport, Md., she entered the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1959 and made final vows in 1967. She held a bachelor's degree from Marywood College in Scranton, Pa. She is survived by a sister, Bernardine, and two brothers, Richard and Francis. A Funeral Mass was offered Oct. 15 at Our Lady of Peace Residence in Scranton, with burial at St. CatherineÕs Cemetery in Moscow, Pa.
