Sister Mary Camilius Brady, P.B.V.M.

Sister Mary Camilius Brady, P.B.V.M., who taught at St. Paul the Apostle School in Yonkers for 20 years, died June 11. She was 100.

She taught at St. Paul’s, 1965-1982 and 1955-1958. She taught at Mount St. Joseph Academy in New Windsor, 1982-1985. She also taught at St. Teresa’s in Manhattan, 1940-1942; St. John’s in Goshen, 1942-1946; Holy Rosary in the Bronx, 1946-1949 and 1958-1959. She taught at Presentation Junior College in New Windsor, 1956-1958.

Born in the Bronx, she entered the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1927 and professed final vows in 1932.

She held a master’s in education from Fordham University.

A Funeral Mass was offered June 17 at Mount St. Joseph Chapel, with burial at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery, both in New Windsor.
