Sister Mary Patricia Molloy, R.S.M., an assistant in infirmaries of the Sisters of Mercy for 40 years, died Aug. 17 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. She was 84. From 1965 until 1995, she served in community infirmaries, first in Dobbs Ferry at the McAuley Centre and then in Yonkers at the Convent of Mercy. She served at St. Michael's Home in Staten Island as a group mother, 1946-1964. She also served at the Susan Devin Residence in the Bronx. Born in Manhattan, she entered the Sisters of Mercy in 1944 and professed final vows in 1949. She is survived by her sister, Helen Kelly. A Funeral Mass was offered Aug. 21 at the Marian Woods Chapel in Hartsdale, with burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
