Sister Miriam Laboure Hart, S.C., who was a principal of three schools in the archdiocese, died March 16 at Mary the Queen Convent in Yonkers. She was 93. She was principal of St. Gabriel's School in the Bronx, 1970-1971; St. Brigid's School in Manhattan, 1965-1968; and St. Anthony's, Commonwealth Avenue, the Bronx, 1959-1965. She also was a teacher at St. Gabriel's, 1971-1972; St. Brigid's, 1969-1970; and St. Anthony's, 1954-1959. She taught at Visitation School, the Bronx, 1968-1969, and St. Mary's in Yonkers, 1973-1977. She was activities coordinator at Mary the Queen Convent, 1972-1973, and worked with senior citizens, 1978-1985. She was assistant to the administrator of the convent at Mount St. Vincent, 1985-1986. Born in Manhattan, she entered the Sisters of Charity in 1938 and professed final vows in 1943. She held a bachelor's degree from the College of Mount St. Vincent in the Bronx. A Funeral Mass was offered March 19 at Mary the Queen, with burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Yonkers.
