Sister Rosemary E. Sheehan, R.S.C.J.

Sister Rosemary E. Sheehan, R.S.C.J., who served at Manhattanville College in Purchase for seven years, died June 20 at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco. She was 91.

She was director of the college infirmary and mistress of health at Manhattanville, 1957-1964. She served in Albany, Greenwich, Conn., and Trenton, N.J.

Born in Brooklyn, she entered the Society of the Sacred Heart in 1948 and professed final vows in 1957.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Manhattanville College.

Her sister, Elizabeth, and her brother, Michael, survive her.

A Funeral Mass was offered June 24 at Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich, followed by burial at Kenwood Cemetery in Albany.
