Archbishop Dolan will honor the longest-married couples in the archdiocese at a Mass he will celebrate in St. Patrick's Cathedral on St. Valentine's Day, Sunday, Feb. 14, at 10:15 a.m. Each of the couples being honored has been sacramentally married for at least 65 years.

The 28th annual celebration of World Marriage Day in the archdiocese is sponsored by the archdiocesan Family Life/Respect Life Office and Worldwide Marriage Encounter.

"In our society, where the very meaning of marriage is being challenged and threatened, the celebration of World Marriage Day is even more critical to proclaim the lifelong commitment between a man and a woman," said Nancy Rizzi, coordinator of marriage enrichment programs for the Archdiocesan Family Life/Respect Life Office.

Family members and friends will join the longest-married couples. A reception will immediately follow the Mass in the cathedral's meeting room. Information: Mrs. Rizzi, (646) 794-3190.
