Thank you, Cardinals Dolan and Collins, for the wonderful use of the Emmaus story to explain the joyful and challenging call to conversion that Jesus came to offer and that the Church must continue offering to people living in difficult situations. Jesus loved people too much to let them continue walking into the darkness. We are praying that Pope Francis's post-synodal Apostolic Exhortation will include the Emmaus reference and the Emmaus call in its entirety, the "full Emmaus" as you name it so well.
