Many thanks to Catholic New York for helping the Volunteer Association of the Mary Manning Walsh Home make the 29th annual Walkathon a huge success by advertising the event. I received phone calls from readers. Some signed up to participate in the walk in Central Park, and others sent donations. On behalf of our residents, we are truly grateful.
We had a beautiful day for the walk with more than 140 walkers and four residents in wheelchairs.
