Catholic Charities Hosts Vaccination Event in Washington Heights

Catholic Charities of the archdiocese, in conjunction with the Community Healthcare Network, distributed doses of the Pfizer and Moderna Covid-19 vaccine to members of the community in the rectory of St. Elizabeth parish in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan Dec. 19.

Since February, Catholic Charities has administered more than 2,500 vaccination doses to members of at-risk or marginalized communities in the New York metropolitan area. This includes a targeted focus on neighborhoods with low vaccination rates in Manhattan and the South Bronx.
