Choosing Neither

Posted

There were letters posted in your April 12 edition written in reply to Cardinal Dolan’s Wall Street Journal article about the Democratic Party.  One each seeming to list the good and bad of both major parties. I am finding it increasingly difficult to vote for candidates in either party. It seems we are being made to choose between two evils. From what I understand, when presented with this sort of choice, the correct answer is to choose neither of them. Perhaps it is time for a third party, one that Catholics and all people of good will can support? I, for one, am praying for this.
