City Soccer Champs

Fordham Prep captured the CHSAA AA City Championship with a 3-1 boys soccer victory over St. Francis Prep at Mount St. Michael Academy in the Bronx Nov. 7. The Rams later defeated Nichols School of Buffalo, 4-2, in the state semifinals before losing to Chaminade in the state final, 2-0, Nov. 14. Fordham Prep, which started the season 0-3-1, won 13 consecutive matches and was 16-0-1 in its last 17 matches entering the state final.
