Decree of Merger Announced For Two Dutchess County Parishes

After intensive consultation, Cardinal Dolan issued the following decree of merger, effective July 5, 2022:

Merger of the parishes of St. Christopher-St. Sylvia, Red Hook, and Good Shepherd-St. Joseph, Rhinebeck. 

The name of the newly merged parish will be the parish of St. Christopher, St. Sylvia, Good Shepherd, and St. Joseph, Red Hook.

The decree was made public the same day through its publication on the archdiocesan website, archny.org. This announcement is a second notice.
