Doris Walcott Coughlin

Doris Walcott Coughlin, who was an associate member of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill, died Dec. 17. She was 95.

Ms. Walcott Coughlin, who studied at Cooper Union Art School in Manhattan, worked in occupational therapy for 20 years. A parishioner of St. Gregory the Great, Garnerville, she was a member of the volunteer corps at Helen Hayes Hospital, West Haverstraw, where she served as a lector. She was a supporter of the Marian Shrine, Stony Point, and Graymoor, Garrison.

Survivors include her children, Pam Attard, Dr. Peter Coughlin, Karen Peterno and Teresa Pacht; sisters, Peggy Ruhs and Frances McGowan; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass was offered Dec. 22 at St. Augustine Church, New City. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn.
