Environmental Confusion

Posted

The article in the Nov. 8 issue titled “Timely Conference on Care for Creation” left me confused and disappointed.

The daylong conference sponsored by the Metro New York Catholic Climate Movement encouraged people to “network, engage, organize and sustain one another spiritually while addressing climate change, integral ecology and care for creation.”

Climate change and integral ecology have been on this earth since God created them. The confusing and disappointing part was when the article was concerned with creation from the point of view of the physical environment.

What about the most important part of God’s creation, the human being in the womb of its mother?
