Fede Mercandetti, mother of the late Deacon Anthony J. Mercandetti of St. Bartholomew’s parish in Yonkers, died Feb. 9. She was 95 and lived in Yonkers.
She was predeceased by her husband, Antonio. Her son, who died in 2006, also had been accounting manager of the archdiocesan Department of Education. A Funeral Mass was celebrated Feb. 18 at St. Bartholomew’s, with burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
