Flocknote Sunday Sign Up Is Dec. 5

Posted

The archdiocese is asking parishioners to participate in Flocknote Sunday Sign Up Dec. 5. Pastors who have set up their Flocknote accounts must take steps to ensure their parishioners and parishes can participate in the sign-up.

Currently, 188 of the 284 parishes in the archdiocese are communicating with parishioners on Flocknote.

“It is a communications tool built specifically for parishes and the archdiocese to give parishes a safe-environment, compliant way to email and text message with parishioners,” said Rachel Sheehan, director of marketing for the archdiocese, in explaining the Flocknote program.

The department provided these and other steps for pastors and parish staff:

Step 1. Set up your website page with information on how parishioners can opt in to receive emails and texts from you through Flocknote.

Step 2. Set up text to join. We suggest you encourage parishioners to use text to join at the end of Mass Sunday, Dec. 5.

Step 3. For Sunday Sign Up, ask parishioners to sign up right there in church. You will want to walk them through text to join and to let them know about your website page where they can also sign up.

Pastors and staff may contact help@flocknote.com. Parishioners who want to know if their parish is participating can check www.find.flocknote.com
