Fordham University To Observe Cardinal Dulles’ Centenary

This year marks the centenary of the birth of Cardinal Avery Dulles, S.J., and a decade since the death of the renowned convert, Jesuit priest and American theologian.

Fordham University, where Cardinal Dulles spent the last 20 years of his distinguished life and career, will begin a yearlong observance of the milestone with a conference examining his legacy and continuing impact on the Catholic Church in the United States and around the world.

“Dulles at 100: Celebrating the Work and Legacy of Avery Cardinal Dulles, S.J.,” will be held Monday, Sept. 24, from noon to 7:30 p.m. at Fordham’s Lincoln Center Campus in Manhattan.

Admission is free; registration is required.
