A Forum on the Catechumenate for Christian Ministers will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, in Keating Hall at Fordham University in the Bronx.
The forum, “Catechesis Accommodated to the Liturgical Year,” will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. The day of study and ministry training is designed for parish RCIA team members, catechists, clergy and other interested adults. Sponsors are the Archdiocese of New York and the Diocese of Brooklyn.
Presentations will include The Four Aspects of Catechumenal Formation, Catechesis and the Liturgical Year—Revealing the Paschal Mystery, and Preparing Catechesis in and for Your Community.
Registration, until Nov. 8: $40; day of the event: $50. Lunch and morning hospitality will be provided.
