Archdiocesan Catholic Charities held a pop-up food pantry Jan. 29 at the Bronx Terminal Market, continuing its efforts to address food insecurity amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Organizers said shelf-stable food and produce were distributed to many local residents. Since pandemic restrictions began in March 2020, Catholic Charities has distributed more than 1 million meals to New Yorkers in need.
