Jeanne Davis Glynn, former executive producer of the nationally syndicated television and radio interview show, "Christopher Closeup," died June 8. She was 75. From her first job in 1957 as a production assistant to Father James Keller, M.M., founder of The Christophers, Ms. Glynn's involvement with the organization spanned five decades. She served on the organization's board of directors for 25 years before stepping down in 2006. In 1968 she helped launch "Christopher Closeup," a half-hour talk show which she co-hosted until 1985, first with Father Keller's successor, Father Richard Armstrong, and then with Father John Catoir. Her list of credits as a television writer includes work on daytime soap operas such as "Guiding Light," "All My Children," and "As the World Turns," for which she received five Emmy nominations and a Writers Guild of America Award in 1984. The Christophers honored Ms. Glynn with the Christopher Spirit Award for her half-century of contributions to the organization's mission. Ms. Glynn was born in Chicago and grew up in Buffalo. Ms. Glynn, who was divorced, is survived by two sons, Liam and John. A Funeral Mass was offered June 13 at St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield, Conn., with private burial.
