Martin J. Fay, a retired Catholic school teacher and a longtime volunteer at Trinity Retreat in Larchmont, died Jan. 14 at White Plains Hospital in White Plains. He was 76.
He taught at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains in the 1980s and previously at Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx. After retiring he did extensive tutoring and volunteered at Trinity Retreat and Most Holy Trinity parish in Mamaroneck. He was active in the pro-life movement. He had lived most recently in Rye.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 20 at Most Holy Trinity Church. Mr. Fay was cremated; interment is to take place at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye.
